Know Your Lore: Alexstrasza the Lifebinder

"Alexstrasza is one of five Dragon Aspects chosen and empowered by the Titans prior to their departure from Azeroth. Each of the Aspects was given a domain that they would protect, and have the power to control. Alexstrasza's domain is perhaps the most broad: Life. While every of the Aspects are interconnected and have some sway over one added, Alexstrasza is perhaps the most connected to the others because of her connection to life. Many use this to say she is the 'leader' of the Aspects, but as far as we know, they don't really have one. At least, not until Wrath. Maybe. While existence regarded as possibly the most powerful of the Aspects, she is also quite loved. She's a kind, compassionate existence, and she should be considering it's her job to protect every life. She's especially revered by people like druids, rangers and others with an attunement to nature, though she comes after Ysera in the eyes of druids. Unfortunately for Alexstrasza, the Old Horde did not really share this love for the Life-Binder... but before we get into that, let's backwards up a little. By a little, I mean most ten thousand years. Nozdormu, would you lend us a hand. Woooooosh! (That's the sound time makes, if you didn't know.) Huzzah, here we are! Thanks, Nozdormu! As you can see, we've gone backwards in time by most ten thousand years! You can tell because the giant gaping wound that we call the Maelstrom is missing from the planet. What arised ten thousand years past, you communicate. Well, a couple of things. The War of the Ancients arised. The Sundering arised. The creation of the first World Tree arised. Before every of this (or during it, I suppose), something much more dire arised to the Dragon Aspects. We won't get into the specifics most Deathwing's fall into corruption, you can read most that in Elizabeth Wachowski's piece most Neltharion.

To make a long tale short, Deathwing was once a well guy named Neltharion. He is the Aspect of Earth. He was buds with every of the other aspects prior to his fall, so he managed to convince every of them to inject a little of their essence into an whole called the Dragon Soul, which would supposedly be used to vex backwards the Burning Legion during the War of the Ancients. Turns out, it actually gave Deathwing power over the other Aspects, too. Malygos made the mistake of trying to stop him, and... okay, we'll talk most that added time. wow gold At last, Malygos was pissed and crazed. Basically, the Dragon Soul sucks. After a series of events involving Malfurion, Illidan, Azshara, and a bunch of demons (according to the War of the Ancients trilogy, at least), the Dragon Soul, renamed the Demon Soul, was sealed absent from Deathwing. Now, if we go a little closer to the present, most twenty years past (give or take a few years), Deathwing found the Demon Soul, and manipulated our well friends the Dragonmaw Orcs into using it. What did they use it for. wow gold Well, you can't have a Dragonmaw Clan without Dragons, can we. They enslaved nearly the entirety of the Red Dragonflight, including Alexstrasza and her number one boytoy Tyranastrasz. The Life-Binder was bound, starved, maltreated, and forced to breed. mp3 Her eggs were taken from her, and the whelps were raised to be mighty drakes for the Dragonmaw riders. Even after the Horde's defeat in the Second War, the Dragonmaw held Alexstrasza captive within Grim Batol. Deathwing's meddling wasn't done already, however. He have been setting up a plot to use Rhonin Sue to get the Red Aspect moved out into the open, where he could finish the ol' gal off and steal what remained of her eggs to renew his own Dragonflight, which have slowly died out in his mice. This failed.
wow gold This failed a lot. Alexstrasza was actually freed when she was moved out into the open, with the help of Rhonin, Krasus, et cetera. The Dragon Soul was also destroyed, as far as we know. buy wow gold Alexstrasza is one of the few Reds to have made it out of Grim Batol alive, though other Red Dragons have taken up residence there for some currently unknown reason. Tyranastrasz was one of many that died there, and if you are feeling particularly morbid you can take a gander at his skull in the Ironforge Museum. I wonder how Alex feels most that. The popular rumor most why the Red Dragonflight has such a presence at Grim Batol was that Alexstrasza slept deep within, resting after such trauma. wow gold That turns out to not be the case. It seems that come Wrath, she will be in Northrend with us, honoring a promise she made to the folk that rescued her at Grim Batol. She would ever protect their races.

Totem Talk: Why cloth and leather?

"Now, for elemental shamans, it's not that caster mail is poorly itemized (since it is in effect designed specifically for you and only you) so much that it can be hard to take. If you look at this guide to pre-Kara drops, you'll notice that the non-PvP mail options before badges are every chromatic mail chestplates. Now, if you're running heroic five mans with a well group in preperation for Kara, at some point you'll probably run Heroic Magisters Terrace. I can't imagine an elemental shaman at that level of content (Magisters is hard on heroic but still doable by a talented five united states marine corps group well before they set foot into Karazhan) turning down the Scarlet Sin'dorei Robes. As an elemental shaman, I might actually prefer them to the mail badge chest from the Isle of Quel'danas vendor. (In certainty, I am actually aiming towards getting the Embrace of Starlight for my elemental shaman over the mail chest, which is a leather piece, but has the spell crit I want. If I decide to go cheap to save badges I may get the Blessed Elunite Coverings, which are still leather.) Less int and spell damage, but a ton of spell crit and three sockets vs. spell haste (confessedly a well stat for elemental if you're trying to get your spell rotation to include more LB's before a chain lightning) - the cloth might not be quite as well, but if you're running heroics to join the 100 badges anyway and it drops, why wouldn't you equip it. The fit value isn't really that important at that point, except possibly for soloing/questing where you might want to hold on to a weaker mail piece just for survivability. But in a PuG, much less a 10 or 25 united states marine corps raid, you're not supposed to be getting hit anyway.

So the fit value, which a nice perk for melee DPS, means not very much at every for an elemental shaman. Now, I say this as personally still a convert to mail: I prefer mail to leather and/or cloth and will put on it whenever I feel I can get absent with it, unless it's going to seriously impact my performance. I can't debate that mail is ever superior for some given role, though. There's a reason that your fit proficiencies don't backwards limit you: the reason a shaman at max level can put on leather and cloth in constituent to mail is because, sometimes, he or she is going to want to do so: a piece of gear will drop that is a clear and present upgrade despite existence cloth or mail, and either due to loot rules existence open or there existence no one else who needs or wants that piece, the shaman will end up with it. I used to ignore these pieces, and as a result I've directly hurt my enhancement shaman's DPS for five mans and raids by passing on gear like the Sunrage Treads and the Shoulderpads of the Silvermoon Retainer. (On the same run! I passed to a boomkin for his offset without even thinking! He didn't even want them! If it were possible to go backwards in time and kick myself in the groin I would do so, especially since they refuse to drop again now.) The point here is not to be a loot greedy jerk constantly fighting with classes who are limited to cloth or leather for their needs. The point is to be flexible and consider exactly what you do and don't need from a piece of gear: is fit value every important for the slot or are you going to see a performance upgrade for your role if you equip this item.
If you respond yes, my DPS/healing viability will increase with this piece of gear, then you should never close your eyes to it simply because it's not mail. Don't let mail partisanship unsighted you. Next week, I'll be listing specific leather for enhancement and cloth for elemental before Kara, and hopefully getting to restoration cloth and leather as well. I'm also hoping to do a bounteous badge loot post for every three shaman specs. " "Wait, what's this. wow gold A mainstream media tale that actually -- gasp -- shows the world that playing Massively Multiplayer Online games together can actually be fun and healthy for relationships. Thrall be praised, ostensibly someone at the LA Times gets it. Yup, Brad and Cynthia Murdock, like millions of other players of this game, play the game together and have a great time doing it. wow gold Of course, near the end of the article, they get backwards to Mike Akers, a ""self-described recluse"" who plays against his wife's wishes and once made her wait for 10 minutes while in labor so he could defeat an ""end boss,"" but we guess we can look past that -- the headline is most people playing the game in a healthy way, and we need more stories like that. since there are a lot more players like that. Blizzard's Frank Pearce also shows up in the tale, and admits that Mages could use a higher damage output at endgame. wow gold No, we're just kidding, this is a tale meant for non-players, so he just says that the game has a ""huge social element,"" and a giant community that supports everyone who logs in. wow power leveling That's you guys! Take a bow! And not even the LA Times can get Blizzard to give us a Wrath release date -- they try, but Pearce waves them off with an understatement: ""We typically try to refrain launch windows."" Blizzard. Avoiding release dates. Sounds most right. ""the headline is most people playing the game in a healthy way, and we need more stories like that. mp3 players since there are a lot more players like that."" sure, WoW community is mainly populated with handsom, rich, beautifull and successful people spending their time in front of a video game or writting comments like this... Alexstrasza currently takes on the form of a High Elf, the mortal race that revered her the most throughout history. Her new top beau is Krasus, and she ostensibly has connections. We will leave Alexstrasza's bio here for now, because there's a whole new chapter waiting for us in Northrend, I'm sure. If you want more information on Alexstrasza, there are a number of places you can look. wow gold For the raw facts, you can check out Wowwiki, as usual. To watch the stories unfold, I recommend reading the War of the Ancients trilogy and Day of the Dragon, despite my issues with the communicator. " .

Death Knights and the new design directive

"Better focus, meliorate talents If there's one thing that you will immediately notice with a quick perusal of the Death Knight talent tree, it's how focused and synergistic they are. Blizzard only began to hone this focus in TBC, where they designed talents that catered to different playstyles. A Subtlety Rogue, for example, will play completely differently from an Assassination, or Mutilate Rogue. The mobility is different, the focus is different, and even the attacks are different. With the goodness of experience, Blizzard seems to have designed the Death Knight with such clear focus that it looks as though differently specced Death Knights will have completely unique feels. This is the case with many classes currently, but the new design seems even more focused now. The Blood tree, for example, has several talents that take plus of killing an opponent that yields Honor or experience. This means Blood-specced Death Knights actually need to time their Killing Blows meliorate. The Unholy tree focuses on disease, and have several talents that work synergistically with the stacking of diseases. Unholy Death Knights will be concentrating on applying as many diseases as possible, sort of like an Affliction Warlock. The Frost tree, meanwhile, is every most slowing or freezing opponents and speeding up the Death Knight's own attacks. What makes the new design so focused, furthermore, is the sheer number of single-point talents in each tree. These new abilities, passive and active, ensure that the trees have a completely different feel from one added. Many talents in the existing classes are mere improvements over line abilities which, though sometimes necessary, is somewhat boring. Death Knights have those, too, but the number of single-point talents in the trees earmark for great flexibility in choosing talents. Most classes now have 4-5 single-point talents per tree. In comparison, the Death Knight's Unholy tree has a whopping 7 single-point talents in seven tiers, 8 if you count the 51-point talent Unholy Blight.

The Blood tree has 5 while Frost has 6, not counting the 51-point talents. I note single-point talents because these are quite often well investments of a talent point, particularly active abilities. These are new spells for the cost of one talent point. I like that design philosophy -- Blizzard isn't afeard to give different specs a plethora of their own unique spells. I wish that they have been this creative from the start. The synergies in the current talent trees of existing classes just don't have the same... excitement as the Death Knight's. Blizzard went every out with their Death Knight design, and though I'm beauty sure a lot of this will change before Wrath goes live, it looks really well so far. What this means for other classes The well news most Blizzard's brave new design directive is that they can administer it to existing classes. Looking through Wowhead's talent calculators, it seems like they're certainly existence creative most the 51-point talents. On the other hand, it would be great to see the developers work on the lower tiers of the talent trees, and not just 41-points and above. wow gold More single-point talents crossways the commission would be an awing, if unlikely move. Overall, learning more most the Death Knight class only makes me more excited for Wrath of the Lich King. It really seems like Blizzard is keen on innovating and not simply rehashing old talents and abilities. They're making really well moves with the existing classes -- such as combining redundant totems like Strength of Earth and Grace of Air and scrapping beneath par spells like Rockbiter Weapon. wow gold If they streamline every the classes this way, it could pave the way for newer, more exciting abilities. The Death Knight looks like the product of a more experienced development team.
Right now, at least, it looks like Blizzard is very much on top of its game. " "I still remember hitting 40 on each of my shamans. wow In each of their cases I'd been running Scarlet Monastery non-stop collecting the mail pieces that dropped off of each of the bosses, and I'd managed to take the helmet, shoulder, legs and chestplate before I dinged on my draenei. (I didn't do as well on my orc, I only got the helmet.) When I hit 40 and trained to put on mail, I was ecstatic. No more leather, I swore then and there. wow gold No more rogue squishiness without rogue stealth! I went forth to level through the 40's and 50's thrilled with my new gear (I wore that shoulder for a very long time, at least into the mid 50's) and eager to sing the praises of mail. Sure, it's not plate, but it's the second highest fit acquirable, and if you're a shaman you can even equip a shield and get even more fit if you're a healer or ranged DPS, making you even less squishy in those roles. In short, I love mail for my shaman, and my other shaman. I don't like wearing cloth, or leather fit for elemental or enhancement. mp3 player (In certainty, I really don't recommend wearing cloth for enhancement.) Sometimes, however, you will end up stepping down your gear to leather or even cloth for a variety of reasons. Before we endeavor to work up a comprehensive 'this is the leather/cloth gear you want for this role' post, let's discuss the reasons you may find yourself turning to those kinds of fit over mail. There are several reasons why you might choose to put on leather or cloth fit, depending in part on what your spec is and what you expect to be doing. Those reasons include poor itemization on mail for a specific role, a lack of mail options to upgrade to in the content you're currently exploring, and simple drop luck. Many enhancement shamans, as an example, find mail to be poorly itemized, especially as they move from five united states marine corps dungeons into 10 and 25 united states marine corps raiding. wow gold Since the mail designed for physical DPS is often designed for both hunters and enhancement shamans, it relies on stats such as straight move power and lightness over strength and critical strike rating which might serve a shaman meliorate.

The irresistible fight

"MEANWHILE, IN THE REST OF SERPENTSHRINE The Lurker Below, Morogrim Tidewalker, Fathom-Lord Karathress, and Lady Vashj do not require some resist gear. All of them have some form of post office damage, but nothing sufficiently destructive that you'd want to want to switch out of proper tanking gear. Whichever tank you've got on Morogrim should probably be the tank who takes Tidalvess (the Shaman add) on the Karathress war due to the insane melee damage done by both. Leotheras the Blind is an odd duck. He's a two-tank encounter: one should be a traditional tank (we used a paladin, as Avenger's Shield is very well for picking Leo up after a phase change), and the other should be a warlock with high fire resistance who'll tank Leo through demon form while he's hurling Chaos Blast (paladins, druids, and warriors CAN tank demon form with fire resistance gear, but it's less prizewinning due to likelihood of Chaos Blast's AoE damage wrecking your melee DPS). I'll be going over fire resistance gear shortly, so just scroll on down. Otherwise, if you're one of the real (ahem) tanking classes, this won't be a resist war for you unless you don't have a warlock. Actually, if you're one of the real tanking classes and Leo is a progression war for your guild, odds are well you won't be in the raid at every. Enjoy the governance! TEMPEST KEEP -- OR, WHY TO START BUILDING YOUR FIRE RESIST SET WHILE YOUR GUILD IS WORKING ON LOOT REAVER High Astromancer Solarian used to require a full raid in arcane resist, but thankfully they got rid of that. Void Reaver isn't a resist war but rather an aggro-control one; put on your threat-set. Al'ar is quite an interesting war and still among my favorites. A great deal of fire damage occurs during this war, but most of it is either incidental or avoidable.

As such, the two or three tanks on Al'ar herself will want to stick with regular tanking gear. The one person who will goodness from some turn of fire resistance will be the tank or tanks who collect the Embers of Al'ar (wee phoenixes!) who spawn as Al'ar moves from platform to platform in Phase 1 and after Meteors in Phase 2. Individually the adds don't pose much threat (they have a fairly weak melee move), but they explode for a tremendous turn of fire damage upon death and do typically have to be killed under most Al'ar strategies. It's theoretically possible to kill Al'ar without killing some of her adds if your raid DPS is very high, but the turn of damage done to the add tank -- and the 3% health loss suffered by Al'ar each time an add dies -- generally makes it worthwhile to put ranged DPS on the adds and melee DPS on Al'ar herself. wow gold Having to survive each Ember's explosion and knockback is what makes fire resist gear useful, and if you're some kind of serious raid tank in BC 25-united states marine corps content from Tier 5 on up, here's what you'll eventually need to get (if not for this war, than for others): " "I've been having fun with Wowhead's new Wrath of the Lich King talent calculators lately. Since I couldn't fiddle around with my favorite class' talents just already, I decided to play with the Death Knight talent trees. Although I have already to actually playtest the class (keeping my fingers crossed for that elusive Chenopodiaceae key...), studying the new talents and spells made it manifest to me that Blizzard was now working on a completely different level. wow gold The class design is so brave, fresh, and completely unlike some class we've seen before. With each patch and expansion, Blizzard has demonstrated a keen sense of learning.WOW Humans
One of the things I truly enjoy most their talks, such as the panels during the Worldwide Invitational event in Paris, France last month, is when they illustrate their learnings and what they've come up with in response. For the most part, each iteration of their designs is progressively meliorate than the last. cheap wow gold Take World PvP, for example. Their first attempts were silly and laughable, such as the sandlol in Silithus. In Outlands, however, they implemented several World PvP objectives that were more successful, particularly Halaa and the Bone Wastes. wow gold In Blizzcon 2007, they talked most the things they learned so far, which make me truly excited for Lake Wintergrasp. The Death Knight is added matter nudity. It's a new class. With the Burning Crusade, Blizzard simply added new races, which wasn't too difficult to equilibrise. mp3 players With the coming expansion, they've designed a class from the ground up -- and from what I can see so far, they've broken the mold and created something that doesn't quite follow the conventions we're embellish dyed-in-the-wool to. If anything, the Death Knight is a shock to the system. Looking through the talents and spells, a few key design points stood out for me. New resources We know that Death Knight spells and abilities operate through a new resource system unlike Mana, Rage, or Energy called Runes. wow gold They also use a secondary resource system called Runic Power, which is kind of like the misbegot child of Rage and Combo Points.

PTR maintenance concludes, Hallow's End up for testing

"An ostensibly new Blizzard employee named 'Boxinabox' (uh, what. ) has just declared that the PTR is backwards up and fully functional after a 'maintenace' period. Man, who the heck is this guy/gal. The interesting part most this phase of the Test Realm is that Hallow's End is up for testing! We might get to see Horseman mounts if the models that have been dug out of the game files are some indication, but we won't really know until we actually see them drop. Maybe they've gotten rid of the oh-so-phallic Broom mounts this time around. We'll find out, won't we. If you're interested in checking out and testing Hallow's End before it gets pulled, you ought to hurry and get on the PTR. Brewfest was pulled after only a few days, so your time may be limited. Wow, KoL, how could I forgoten most that wonderful game... oh right WoW. Should really check it again, beauty sure my statement is still around, having Mr.A itemds and every. Anwywhoo, I hope the brooms wont get removed. I loved riding a broom, made me feel like a proper warlock. My GF has a shaman named Weatherwitch and she loved flying around on a broom too, so really hope they will still be around. Errrmmm if I'm not mistaken the next thing to be tested publicly will be ... WOTLK. Before this Hallow's End event went to the PTR we have the patch 2.4.3 up for testing. That's going to be released anytime soon. So they are testing what's coming up after that. Hallow's end! That is released in NOvember which is around the release date of WOTLK so like I said, If Im not mistaken they will open the BETA after this. :) " "This guide covers every of the existing 10-united states marine corps and 25-united states marine corps content in the game outside of Sunwell Plateau: KARAZHAN Not a problem.

With the exception of Curator (some guilds on very hasty Kara runs used arcane resist for extra survivability versus the Astral Flare adds), there's no war here where you'll goodness from resist gear of some type. GRUUL'S LAIR Another vacation! There are multiple nontraditional ""tanks"" on the High King Maulgar war -- ranged DPS typically ""tanks"" Kiggler the Crazed, a high-stamina mage Spellsteals Krosh Firehand's damage-reduction buff and tanks him, and warlocks enslave Olm the Summoner's felhound adds and use those to tank him. The two or three real tanks on the war will be occupied with tanking Blindeye the Seer (who hits like a wet dumpling), ""tanking"" Olm just to keep him distracted while warlocks enslave new felhounds, and -- the bounteous one -- tanking the High King himself. If you're the High King tank, you'll want a high-mitigation/high-rejection gear set for this as he hits fairly hard for a Kara-geared tank. Gruul's damage is entirely physical (communicate your mages to cast Amplify Magic on the raid) so again, resist gear is a moot point. SERPENTSHRINE CAVERN Here we go. Tier 5 is where you'll really have to start worrying most building different resist sets. Hydross the Unstable is the bounteous one. It's not that unusual for guilds to skip him (if you stay to the extreme left of his platform and keep going, he won't aggro) and head straight to the easier Lurker Below. This used to give guilds and tanks a little more time to get their Hydross resist sets together -- or at least that's what everyone used to do before it was possible to clear trash every the way to Vashj. wow gold Hydross requires at least 3 to 4 tanks, one of whom must be capped (365) frost-resist, and one of whom must be capped (365) nature-resist. The other one or two tanks will be tanking the four adds that Hydross spawns each time he changes form, and they can use either a mixture of nature and frost resist gear or simply use high-stamina gear (after experimenting with the former, I found that a high-stam set was ultimately more useful). A word of warning; the turn of time, gold, and sheer hassle that goes into making a full frost- or nature-resist set for a tank is exorbitant.
The war was essentially a pacing mechanism, as you couldn't do Vashj without killing Hydross. wow gold Now that that's no longer true, you may wish to skip Hydross entirely because he doesn't drop anything particularly compelling (badge gear is generally meliorate) and you will not need a frost or nature-resist set for some other BC raid. Also, if your guild is heavily reliant on Druid tanks, you're out of luck; there is no epic frost or nature-resist leather in BC. You can put together usable Druid tanking sets if you get lucky with green or chromatic resist gear on the AH, but the stats are rarely as well as the ones on the epic plate resist gear acquirable. buy wow gold In general, plan on using warriors or paladins as heaved tanks on the war with your druids as off-tanks. Having said that, if you're a raid completist like me or you're just stubborn as hell, start stockpiling materials for the sets as soon as you can. I started putting together a list of individual items needed, but frankly I can't do it some meliorate than Wowwiki already has. Wowwiki's Hydross Resist Gear is essentially the war's gearing bible and gives an excellent run-down on exactly what you'll need in each slot. wow gold But to give you a shortcut at what you're looking at, let's adopt for the moment that you'll use one or two offtanks with high-stamina rather than resist gear and you're just worried most two 365+ resist sets for your heaved Hydross tanks. You will need the following: mp3 players 30 Felsteel Bars 26 Khorium Bars 10 Mercurial Adamantite 32 Heavy Knothide Leather 46 Primal Water 64 Primal Fire 46 Primal Life 64 Primal Shadow 6 Primal Nether 260 gold for glyphs/enchants (less if purchaser is Friendly or meliorate) Blacksmiths must be exalted with the Cenarion Expedition and Revered with the Violet Eye Jewelcrafters must be Revered with Lower City, Honored with the Violet Eye, Exalted with the Cenarion Expedition, wow gold and Revered with the Scryers And, of course, the tanks using glyphs on the shoulders and helm (Inscription of Endurance on the shoulders, Glyph of Nature Warding or Glyph of Frost Warding on the helm) must be at least Honored with the Violet Eye, Cenarion Expedition, and Keepers of Time respectively. Whew. You sure you want to do every this rather than just head straight to Vashj. " .

Scattered Shots: Sting operations

"As Hunters, our primary role is and likely ever will be the DPS. Even the new pet talent trees probably aren't going to change that too much. At last, we sit backwards and fill the giant target full of arrows or bullets. That said, we also have quite a few tricks up our sleeves, a few stops we can pull out to get jobs done. Some of these come in the form of stings: a series of shots that put a debuff on the mob that can, when used correctly, turn the tide of a war. Today, we'll look at each sting, what it does, and how prizewinning to use it in PvP and PvE. There's a few universal truths to look at before we start: First, every stings are poison. This means that they can be cleansed, and that certain mobs will be immune to them. Second, there's only one sting allowed per a hunter, and most stings don't stack. That means that you can only administer on sting at a time as an individual hunter. Still, that can turn out to be helpful in some cases, as we'll discuss later. In constituent Viper and Scorpid Sting can only be cast by one Hunter at a time, so in multiple hunter situations, be sure to decide amongst yourselves who's casting what, should they be needful. And now, on with the stings! Name: Serpent Sting Description: Serpent Sting is a damaging shot that puts a nature DoT on the enemy that scales with AP. This is a nice, straightforward shot. Remember, as it is a DoT, it can prevent many forms of CC, including Freezing Trap, so be alive of that before you use it. Use in PvE: Back before Burning Crusade, Serpent Sting have a place of honor in most shot rotations. These days, it's less used, since Beastmastery Hunters work with a 1:1 or 3:2 shot rotation and really don't have time to fit it in, and because it's not very mana efficient.

Still, slower shot rotations should consider using it, at least in longer lasting battles where the DoT has some time to tick.
